Public Engagement

KT learning what goes into keeping the city streets clean and safe for drivers, pedestrians, bicyclists and the street crew themselves.
As a resident of the area for many decades, KT knows it's not the government's job alone to keep the city going. It takes public engagement at all levels.

KT during a 'ride along' with a Columbia Heights police officer, learning what the force comes across on a daily basis and what the public can do to support the police. The department noted that KT is the only candidate in recent memory that ever requested a ride along. This valuable tool allows candidates and citizens the opportunity to learn what challenges exist, and provides police the support of their residents.
